Marriott Hotels has welcomed guests to its first resort in the United Arab Emirates, set along the golden shores of Dubai’s Palm Island. The sprawling property boasts 608 guest rooms and suites, with floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies revealing sweeping vistas of the glittering Persian Gulf.
Perhaps most impressive is the resort’s culinary offerings. Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah has 10 distinct eateries including rustic Italian trattoria, Cucina, and Levantera – a laid-back Mediterranean dining venue with a buffet for kids.
The oceanfront retreat is also home to an ice cream parlor and the MYAMI Pool Bar where guests can enjoy an array of cocktails and Caribbean-inspired light bites. For something a bit more casual, the Lobby Lounge is the perfect setting to relax with a cup of coffee and freshly baked pastry.

Not stopping there, in 2023 the retreat will also open Above Eleven (a trendy Peruvian Japanese rooftop restaurant) and Smoki Moto Dubai (a high-end Korean steakhouse).
Also set to open next year is the resort’s expansive Saray Spa. The tranquil haven will feature several private treatment rooms, a waterbed, jacuzzi and relaxation area. And for gym lovers, there’s a fitness center open 24-hours with a range of classes.
As for little ones, the family-friendly resort has a dedicated Kids Club complete with a playground, pool, and full program of activities including yoga, crafts and karaoke.
“As one of the world’s most vibrant holiday destinations and a hub for business travelers, Dubai is an ideal location for a flagship Marriott Hotels property,” said Sandra Schulze-Potgieter, vice president for premium and select brands, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International.
“Set along an idyllic stretch of white sand beach with turquoise waters and stunning views, Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah is a place for leisure seekers to make memories, discover new cuisines and unwind.”
