Men’s Style: Pale

While bright yellow, shades of pink and printed pieces were some of Spring’s biggest trends, quiet colors are a sleeper trend seen on the streets, not just on the runway.

At Ermenegildo Zegna, a suit so pale pink it almost seems white is a beautiful suit for spring and summer. Far from Miami Vice, but still interesting enough to turn heads, wear to a dressy dinner on vacation as well as to work. Jeffrey Rüdes’ 1970s-inspired collection has both flares and more traditional cuts. A white suit is a difficult look to pull off, but we think Rüdes hits the mark with this simple styling and fantastic fabric. A light blue zip-up leather jacket worn with even paler loose-fitting trousers from Canali is a great look for creative men. The separates work nicely for gentlemen who aren’t so adventurous in their wardrobe, and they have Canali’s perfect cuts and finishings.
