As exclusive distributor for Sanlorenzo yachts in Asia, Simpson Marine is delighted to announce the sale of the newest yacht in the Sanlorenzo line – the SL 78.
The yacht will be berthed in Hong Kong following her delivery planned for early May 2017.
‘’With this latest sale we can see that Sanlorenzo’s “Made to Measure” design philosophy and range of models is proving very attractive to Asia buyers’’ said Angel Zhou, Simpson Marine China General Manager.
The SL 78 is the new entry-level model of the Sanlorenzo SL planing range, and will receive her premiere at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival held on 6-11 September. Following her larger sister, the SL 86, the SL 78 features the new design lines developed by Officina Italiana. With high levels of customisation and very flexible layouts, the yacht embodies Sanlorenzo’s core values of timeless elegance and “made to measure” philosophy.
Before her official launch next week, the SL 78 has already sold many units, confirming the reputation of the brand amongst international buyers. The same success was enjoyed by the SL 86 presented at Cannes last year with 13 units sold to date.
Key features of the SL 78 are the significantly enlarged windows in the superstructure and hulls meaning more light and excellent sea visibility for guests socializing in the saloon or enjoying the privacy of their cabins. In addition, an elegant and spacious lifting aft platform accommodates jet skis and water toys in addition to the 3.85m tender stored in the garage.
Other features include a seamless floor on the main deck, larger two-meter beds, beautiful glass made floating staircase leading from the saloon to the flybridge, expansive flybridge with glass paneled T-top, extensive seating areas in the cockpit, saloon and sun deck, and of course the signature interior design by Sanlorenzo, personalised in partnership with each owner to give each yacht its unique character and made to measure feel.
Sanlorenzo’s industrial excellence has created a hydrodynamic hull to optimise speeds and reduce fuel consumption, floating floor design for less noise and vibration, and high-tech resin infusion of both the hull and superstructure to achieve best build quality and weight control.
The Superyacht market is now more active in Asia, and the regular sales of the Sanlorenzo yachts and superyachts within the Simpson Marine group confirm this growing trend.
