It’s on the northern shores of Costa Rica’s Guanacaste Coast that a new luxury residential project by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is currently taking shape. Set to open in 2020, Rosewood Puerto Papagayo will comprise 98 luxury residences ranging from studios to five-bedroom homes and palatial treehouse suites, as well as incorporating a Rosewood Hotel. Now potential homeowners have the chance to secure their own residence here as sales for the first phase of this development are launched.
In its prime position overlooking the scenic Gulf of Papagayo, and as the first Rosewood to have been built in Costa Rica, this development is designed with the brand’s philosophy of providing a sense of place in mind. To do this the designers are incorporating indigenous materials and locally inspired artwork into each of the homes, while ensuring each residence makes the most of its natural surroundings through the integration of open-air living rooms, large terraces and plunge pools.
Among the residences here it’s perhaps the 11 two-story treehouses that stand out most for their use of striking contemporary design and unparalleled views over the Pacific Ocean in an undeniably appealing setting. Three of these luxury treehouses will be available to buy in the development’s first phase.
Residents here will also have access to the luxury amenities and hospitality seen at Rosewood hotels around the world, including Sense, a Rosewood Spa, the hotel’s beach club and tennis center, a Kid’s Adventure Club and a collection of boutiques, along with restaurants for fine dining, casual fare and farm-to-table cuisine. And with its long stretch of sandy beachfront, the property will offer an abundance of water sports too, with opportunities to hike through rainforest, set out on volcano tours and go whitewater rafting and horseback riding in the surrounding region.
Amy Davis, the sales director for Rosewood Residences Puerto Papagayo says: “We are elated to see the reality of Rosewood Puerto Papagayo come to life as we begin accepting phase one residential reservations. For world travelers and prospective home-buyers who wish to call Costa Rica home, Rosewood Puerto Papagayo will perfectly capture Costa Rica’s pura vida luxury lifestyle.”
Sales for the first-phase residences at Rosewood Puerto Papagayo will launch in November 2017. Find out more by going over to puertopapagayocr.com.
