Hautlence – HL Sphere

Since its founding 15 years ago, Hautlence has become revered for its three-dimensional, avant-garde creations powered by top-quality, in-house movements. This year, the brand’s newest caliber, HTL 501-1, brought it to the next level. Specifically created for the television-screen-inspired HL Sphere, the hand-wound movement offers a jumping hour that spins on a round globe — it’s a truly unique way to read the time.

The rectangular dial features two interlocked circles. On the left is a blue globe with jumping hours (the current hour is in the middle of the globe).

It rotates on itself through three axes to reveal the current hour. The right side of the dial shows a retrograde minute hand. Behind this, the movement’s gear train is visible. The movement is equipped with a safety mechanism that prevents manipulation during time setting.

Price: $99,600 in 18K white gold
