It may seem difficult to believe, given Chopard’s vast experience in high horology, but the newest L.U.C Flying T Twin represents the brand’s first-ever flying tourbillon (a tourbillon escapement without an upper bridge so it appears to be floating freely in space). It features a self-winding movement developed in-house specifically for this watch.
Chronometer certified, Caliber 96.24-L is equipped with a stop-seconds device on the one-minute flying tourbillon for precise time setting. Impressively, the caliber measures just 3.30mm in thickness, enabling an ultra-thin 7.2mm case. The 190-part movement has two stacked barrels via Chopard’s patented Twin Technology, which endow the watch with 65 hours of power reserve.
The dial features a sophisticated motif, and a transparent sapphire caseback enables viewing of the finely finished movement, which carries the Hallmark of Geneva certification.
