In the first of its kind, premier business jet manufacturer Bombardier has opened a new Aviator Lounge at Monaco Yacht Club, a luxurious space for visitors to learn about the company’s best-performing aircraft, history, sustainability and innovations.
While a yacht club may at first seem like an odd place to find an Aviator Lounge by one of the leading business jet manufacturers – then again this is Monaco, so anything goes.
The site within the region’s most historic and prestigious institution bolsters Bombardier’s already strong presence in Europe, where the manufacturer has a network of service facilities including maintenance stations at the nearby Nice airport.

To celebrate the occasion, the lounge was inaugurated by Prince Albert II of Monaco, who was also joined by Bombardier’s chairman, Pierre Beaudoin.

Of course, with this being Bombardier, where every element of the private jet can be customized, the Aviator Lounge is bespokely designed by Paris-based architect Andrea Mosca, who brings to life Bombardier’s innovative past with tasteful design features.
A swooping welcome desk is shaped like an aircraft wing, in a tribute to Bombardier’s Smooth Flĕx Wing. Over in the intimate ‘nest’ meeting space, the overhead light is reminiscent of the blisk fans found on Bombardier’s Global 7500 engine.
As well as being a space for visitors to learn about Bombardier’s current innovations, visitors to the Aviator Lounge will also get to see firsthand the new book by Assouline, Bombardier, which covers more than 80 years of the company and its family legacy through visuals and insights.
