The celebration in Napa Valley began with cocktails at Ms. Farrow’s home at the Villa Mille Rose Estate and continued at the Auberge du Soleil. Guests enjoyed a special luncheon which included Marinated Florida Shrimp, Sauteed Veal Loin finished with Raspberry Sorbet and seasonal mixed berries all accompanied by Opus One wine.
For the festival, Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele designed a magnificent high jewelry earrings and necklace suite playing on the grapevine motif. Ms. Farrow chose to wear it for the special event. The divine necklace is set in 18K Rose Gold with 22-carats of white and fancy colored diamonds and is decorated with 445-carats of fancy colored briolette gemstones. The matching earrings, also set in 18K Rose Gold, are adorned with fancy colored diamonds and 144-carats of fancy colored briolette gemstones. A selection of Chopard High Jewelry and Watches were also on display for guests to admire.
Attending guests included Marc Hruschka, President and CEO of Chopard U.S.A., HRH Sultan Abdul-Aziz and HRH Deena Abdul-Aziz, Barrett and Nina Wissman, Tatiana Sorokko, Bill and Sako Fisher, Timothy and Athena Blackburn, Doug and Jane Wolf, Joy Venturini Bianchi, Elizabeth Thieriot, Deborah Lee Miner, Denise Hale, Jose Nazar, as well as press and many friends and clients of Chopard.
Chopard, the Swiss family owned and operated jewelry house, is honored to be the Title Luxury Goods Sponsor of this year’s festival.
Maria Manetti Farrow is a charming Italian born gracious host and owner of the Napa Valley Villa Mille Rose. The treasured setting where Ms. Farrow greeted guests served as an exquisite pre-luncheon location.
