Marni is pleased to announce the opening of its new flagship boutique in the Four Seasons, Macao. The 1,550 square foot store is the first stand out Marni boutique in Macao.
The entrance of the shop is flanked by suspended mannequins, which appear unsupported, floating to boost the view of the collection. Signature stainless steel rails undulate down each side, hugging the walls as they pinch inwards, enhancing the sense of perspective. The rear wall provides a strong focal punctuated by an array of fibreglass display boxes, inset with back lighting, while the seamless concrete floor is the ground out of which the shop seems to grow. The light, a warm white glow, is diffused throughout the space and creates a slightly surreal air. The materials and color palettes, tones of warm grey, emphasise minimalist luxury. Polished concrete and high gloss lacquer form the backdrop while pure steel, translucent fibreglass, natural leather and warm light create layers of texture and depth.
Consuelo Castiglioni has worked closely with architecture firm Sybarite to create a clean and elegant setting, which provides unexpected and captivating ways of presenting Marni ready-to-wear and accessories collections.
