Peninsula Beverly Hills Debuts Special Sunday Dining Program The Peninsula Beverly Hills has unveiled two new Sunday dining options in The Belvedere Restaurant, which features the contemporary market-driven cuisine of Executive Chef James Overbaugh. Live jazz performed by the The Bernie Meissinger Band now adds an upbeat ambiance to Sunday Brunch at The Belvedere. Entrée choices range from The Peninsula’s “Croque Madame” made with Truffled Brioche, Country Ham, Fontina Cheese and Organic Eggs; Quiche of Hawaiian Blue Prawns and Oaxacan Chorizo; and Duck Eggs with Duck Confit, Okinawa Sweet Potatoes and Chanterelle Mushrooms, to Kobe style Flat Iron Steak. For dessert, guests are welcome to sample from the bounteous pastry buffet
Come 6 p.m., The Belevedere opens for dinner, and now, in addition to the regular dinner menu, guests can order from a weekly changing three-course menu featuring selected dinner menu items. Entrees may be Seared Diver Sea Scallops with Prince Edward Island Mussels and Saffron Aioili and an Inspired Boulillabaisse Broth, or Herbed Colorado Lamb Rack with Merguesz-filled Lamb Loin with Roasted Eggplant Quinoa, Lamb’s Quarter’s and Indian Eggplant with Greek Yogurt.
