Geneva-based Patrizzi & Co will auction The Davide Blei Vintage Rolex Collection on March 22 in Milan, with simultaneous bidding via their website, www.patrizziauction.com.
The Davide Blei Vintage Rolex Collection is considered one of the most important collections of Rolex watches in the world. Davide Blei began collecting Rolex watches in 1984, focusing on the aesthetic beauty of the cases and dials, and unique metal combinations. The collection is comprised of 114 watches, includes some rare Stelline, Ref 6062s; several Daytonas; important chronographs, and a collection of personalized watches. The collection also includes superb examples of the Submariner, the GMT, the Explorer, and the Sea Dweller. A preview of the exhibition will be held in late February at the company’s New York offices, 595 Madison Avenue, with the auction March 22 at the Grand Hotel et de Milan in Milan.
“Each piece is impressive as Davide collected only the most perfect example of these vintage watches,” said Osvaldo Patrizzi, president and chiefexecutive officer, Patrizzi & Co.
