2009 Mobil Five-Star awards. One honors the oceanfront resort’s signature
fine dining restaurant, Studio, which features California-influenced modern
French cuisine prepared by a talented team of culinary and service
professionals. The other was awarded to Spa Montage, the first-ever U.S. spa
to be accorded Mobil Five-Star status in 2005 that continues to be celebrated
for its inventive holistic treatments and rigorously trained staff who base
their customized services on the propriety Montage “Surrender” philosophy.

Studio, set on a lushly landscaped ocean bluff with expansive windows overlooking the Pacific, offers an ever-changing array of seasonal dishes paired with wines from the resort’s extensive cellar. Menus include ala carte dishes and multiple-course tasting menus crafted from the freshest seasonal and artisanal ingredients, many sourced by a private forager. The private Chef’s Table can accommodate up to 12 in a luxuriously intimate space complete with a stone fireplace and exclusive views into the grand residential-style kitchen.
Spa Montage, the heart of the resort, is a serene sanctuary filled with the muted colors of nature.
