The spa, which will serve hotel guests as well as the general public, will open in conjunction with the luxurious 123-room Rosewood Sand Hill hotel and Madera restaurant.
The serene 17,000-square-foot Sense spa melds relaxed California elegance with fragrant gardens and views of the Santa Cruz Mountains, offering an array of personalized services and revitalizing treatments that incorporate natural elements from the area. The spa features 13 treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center, movement studio, salon, courtyard relaxation lounge, Spa Café, and spa boutique.
“We have worked to develop a menu of treatments guided by the Rosewood philosophy, A Sense of Place, incorporating indigenous elements inspired by the coastal forests of Northern California and honoring local healing traditions,” said Pelican.
Sense, A Rosewood Spa is an elegant spa designed to draw the outside in—from the expansive windows overlooking manicured gardens and inviting outdoor courtyard relaxation areas to the inspiration of the nearby coastal forests that are integrated into many of the Sense signature treatments.
