Mark S. Long, a veteran aviation finance executive with over 20 years experience in the aviation industry including senior roles at Northwest Airlines, has been named chief financial officer of XOJET, a leading private aviation company.
Immediately prior to joining XOJET, Mr. Long was a managing director at Skyworks Capital, LLC, a global investment banking boutique focused on the airline transportation sector, specializing in asset based finance, aircraft fleet management and advisory, corporate finance, merger and acquisitions and financial restructuring.
Before joining Skyworks, he was with Northwest Airlines, serving as an officer and vice president in finance, managing investor relations and various strategic financial and corporate initiatives. Earlier in his career, he spent five years at Continental Airlines in multiple management roles.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Mark to XOJET’s management team,” said David Siegel, CEO of XOJET. “He brings deep industry financial experience, and as we continue to build on our momentum and grow market share, his background and expertise will be invaluable.”
“I am excited to join the talented leadership team at XOJET, which, in only three years, has introduced a dramatically different business model that delivers unprecedented customer value,” said Mr. Long. “The company is poised for growth with a strong balance sheet and increasing demand for the company’s more cost-effective, high quality private jet service. I look forward to helping to support XOJET as it enters its next phase and secures its future as a premier private aviation company.”
