Master watchmaker Vincent Bérard’s designs have always been influenced by the four seasons. With Talismane, the latest addition to his Fuseau de l’Infini collection, he turns to the changing times of year for inspiration once more, with the introduction of four special-edition timepieces.
The Talismane was designed to be both a timepiece and a lucky charm in one. The watch is strapless, chainless, and fits perfectly into your pocket or the palm of your hand. The Four Seasons special edition is made up of four unique timepieces that measure 42mm and represent spring, summer, autumn and winter through their rich, hand-crafted embellishments.
The line’s cases and dials are produced in either green, yellow, red or white gold, and are covered with a matching lacquer on which the season’s motifs stand out in varying colors and precious stones, including emeralds, yellow sapphires, blue sapphires and rubies. The balance bridge above the concentric mysterious balance in the 3 o’clock position adopts the form of the piece’s respective seasonal motif.
The steps of the spindle-shaped bridges on the VB441 movement type are also decorated according to their individual seasonal themes. Each of these small “seasonal universes” is achieved through the meticulous engraving and lacquering of the bridges. They are revealed by pressing the timepiece’s case-spring, which opens the case back to unveil a sapphire glass cover over the movement.
