All rooms are outfitted with spectacular amenities, making them five-star quality. Attention to detail is found in each luxurious suite with contemporary Caribbean décor, large whirlpool, LCD flat panel televisions with cable, Italian Frette bathrobes and linens (some of the softest and smoothest around), DVD and CD players, Molton Brown bath and body amenities, mini-bar, clock radio, hair dryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, iron and ironing board, direct dial telephone with Internet access, safe, coffee/tea facility, toaster, chaise lounges and patio or balcony.
Fully-inclusive rates are $2,000 per room, per night, based on double occupancy Jan. 16 – April 15. Fully-inclusive rates include accommodations; breakfast, lunch and dinner daily; afternoon tea; beverages including house wine at dinner; use of non-motorized watersports such as snorkeling, kayaking and Hobie cat sailing; golf greens fess at the nine-hole Grenada Golf Club; and concierge and room service.

The luxurious, full-service, 5,600 square foot spa and fitness center encompasses the same elegant, tropical feel found throughout the entire resort complemented by soft colors, natural materials such as pebble stone inlays, and stunning views of the surrounding hills and lush flora and fauna.
For guests who want to pamper themselves with massages, body wraps, facials and much more, Janissa’s Spa features the following:
-Four air-conditioned indoor treatment lounges, each with its own outdoor shower bordered by fragrant flowers and rich greenery
-An exterior treatment room in a garden setting, also with an open-air shower area (this room is often used for Couple’s Massages)

Treatments performed at Janissa’s Spa are as natural as the facility’s surroundings, providing guests with an extensive menu of services that incorporate local Grenadian herbs and spices. Using natural oils such as orange, grapefruit, cinnamon, aniseed and lemongrass soothes the body while adding exotic aromas to the air. Ginger, cinnamon and honey are essential elements combined to hydrate the skin during the spa’s body scrubs and signature body wraps, Corn meal forms part of the granular blend for exfoliation in the homemade body polish. The key ingredient in the deep tissue massage is local Caribbean coconut oil, while citrus grapefruit oil adds zest to the Swedish massage.

The spa director is Tricia Thomas, who brings to Spice over ten years of experience in numerous high-end luxury chains in both London and the Caribbean. Thomas, a Grenadian, oversees all operations at Janissa’s Spa and is working on growing the spa’s list of in-house and local clientele by presenting new and inventive spa therapies.
Within the spa is the fitness center with all new, top-of-the-line equipment including treadmills, stationary bikes and a wide selection of free weights.
Guests can keep up with their fitness routines while away from home by mixing indoor and outdoor activity. They can enjoy a morning workout in the fitness center, a round or two of tennis on the new world-class Omnicourt® artificial turf surface court or a refreshing swim in the sparkling Caribbean Sea. Top off with a Swedish massage, a soak in the jacuzzi and then some quiet time in the spice-scented relaxation lounge.
Janissa’s Spa is open daily, 7 am – 7 pm (off-season hours sometimes vary). Reservations are recommended for all spa services. Spa services are priced accordingly (and are outlined in brochures placed in the hotel rooms). The menu of spa services is subject to change. Treatments at the spa are not included in the resort’s rates.
