In celebration of their 40th Anniversary, luxury menswear brand ZILLI has partnered with renowned sunglass designer Eric Jean to create an outstanding collection of men’s eyewear, hitting boutiques December 2010. Chic and sporty, ZILLI focused on creating fashion forward models while maintaining optimal comfort for the customer.
At the heart of the collection is a series of one of a kind, limited edition sunglasses created with pure gold lenses. With this collection, ZILLI is the first brand to lay a leaf of 24 carat gold over polarized lenses, producing a peerless, gold mirror effect.
The sunglasses come in three titanium and two acetate front shapes, each style playing with the ZILLI logo in different ways, and are named by the following sources of inspirations:
• Great wines
• Grand slam
• Grand prix
The collection is available in gold, platinum and ruthenium-plated finishes. All of the frames are built with Italian flex hinges, and the acetate front and temples on each pair are hand polished.
The new sunglasses, which range from $800 to $1000, will be available at locations in New York and Atlanta beginning this fall.
