SpaFinder, Inc., the world’s largest spa media, marketing and gifting company announced that Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Singapore has won two prestigious Readers’ Choice Awards, namely the Country/Region Award for Best Spa in Singapore for the second consecutive year, and the Top Ten Best Urban Hotel Spa (Worldwide). Readers cast a record number of votes in the eighth annual awards, considered the most thorough and independent assessment of spas worldwide.
“This honor is another outstanding laurel in Willow Stream Spa’s growing list of international awards and accolades. It is a testament to the Fairmont Singapore’s unwavering commitment to provide our guests with the most memorable and pampering experiences. My heartiest congratulations to the Willow Stream Spa team for this notable achievement and for setting exemplary benchmarks for the spa industry in the region,” commented Mr. Ian Wilson, General Manager of Fairmont Singapore and Regional Vice-President – Asia, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
Willow Stream Spa is located from levels six to eight at the Fairmont Singapore, and with 50,000 square feet of space in total, is one of Asia’s largest sanctuaries of wellness and luxurious pampering. Equipped with 33 treatment rooms, a fitness centre with cardio theatre, strength training area and fitness studio, this sprawling enclave features a pavilion, VIP suites, sauna and steam rooms, two free-form swimming pools, six tennis courts, Alligator Pear Restaurant & Pool Bar, a lifestyle boutique, a relaxation lounge with personal headsets, and more.
“Winning a Readers’ Choice Award is truly a remarkable achievement. There are more spa-goers around the globe than ever before, and competition within the spa industry is at an all-time high. To be recognized by our readers is an extraordinary honor for everyone at Willow Stream Spa,” said Susie Ellis, president of SpaFinder, Inc.
“This award helps travelers make smart choices based on objective criteria. Consumers are asked to cast ballots only for spas they’ve personally visited within the past three years,” Ms Ellis added.
This year’s Readers’ Choice Awards were presented to spas in 35 countries/regions, a record number that included awards for favorite spas in China Mainland and Hong Kong, Turkey, Malaysia, Russia and Central America.
