Lisbon, Portugal – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
CORUM announces a new partnership by becoming a Gold Partner of the World Yacht Racing Forum. The event will take place in Portugal on the 14th and 15th of December, 2010. Professional sailors and enthusiasts will be invited to pit their performances virtually during the regatta organized by Corum and have the opportunity to win an Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 48.
A rendez-vous for professionals who are active in the sailing world, the World Racing Forum brings together more than 400 participants yearly. Usually organized in Monaco, the 2010 forum will, for the first time, welcome sailors, event organizers, sponsors and international federations in Estoril. Corum is very pleased to sign a partnership with this flagship event as Gold Sponsor of the forum and Presenting Sponsor of the Virtual Corum Regatta.
Visitors to the show will be invited to visit the forum’s lounge, which will be equipped with 4 computers, to participate in the Virtual Corum Regatta and to compete in a virtual match race. The participants will automatically take part in the draw to win a Corum “Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 48 Bol d’Or Mirabaud”, a limited edition of 35 pieces. This model is emblematic of the brand and distinguishes itself with a twelve-sided case and a dial featuring nautical flags. This special edition combines the blue and golden colors of the famous regatta, the Bol d’Or Mirabaud presented by Corum.
Previewed at the World Yacht Racing Forum and the Yacht Racing Design & Technology Symposium, the Corum Virtual Regatta will be officially launched to the public in 2011.
Loïck Peyron, famous French sailor and the brand’s ambassador, will also be present at the World Yacht Racing Forum as a lecturer, and will face a colleague live on the Virtual Corum Regatta.
