Miami, Florida – Reported by Elite Traveler Magazine, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine
Miami held its annual boat show from February 17 to 21, and among many exhibitors were Vicem Yachts, the Turkish builders of luxury classic motor yachts and megayachts. On display were Vicem’s 78 Cruiser, 92 Cruiser, 72 Classic and 54 Bahama Bay.
The Vicem 78 Cruiser is the luxury yacht company’s newest, with a U.S. debut at last year’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. The 78 Cruiser, a member of Vicem’s Vintage Line, epitomizes the three hallmarks of every Vicem yacht: A classic look of timeless design, unmatched craftsmanship with a commitment to total customization, and the cold-molded method of construction.
Vicem’s 15-person in-house design team used a double crème shade and a lighter mahogany for the interiors, as well as larger windows so that more natural light streams into shared indoor spaces. Quality materials and fixtures were employed throughout, including Bisazza mosaics and Grohe faucets. You’ll also find a king bed in the VIP master cabin, a 4-person Jacuzzi on the flying bridge, a fully equipped European kitchen and a Bose sound system.
Power arrangements are two MAN V8 900HP Common Rail engines, which allow the 78 Cruiser to reach cruising and maximum speeds of 14 and 17 knots, respectively, with a range of 1,050 nm at 10 knots.
Vicem also showed their 92 Cruiser, the Vintage Line’s flagship, the 72 Classic, a luxury motor yacht featuring a flybridge level perfect for al fresco entertaining, and the surprisingly spacious 54 Bahama Bay with the latest cutting-edge technology of Volvo IPS engines.
