New York, New York – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine
Iconic jewelry designer Robert Lee Morris will showcase his latest collection, as well as one-of-a-kind pieces from his past collections, in an exclusive sale at New York’s Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) next month.
From 5:30 to 8:00pm on Thursday, May 12th, Morris will unveil his new Museum Collection, alongside a selection of 24K matte gold-plated hand-made samples and first-trial pieces from his archives. The designer will be onhand to sign copies of his book, The Power of Jewelry, and any pieces visitors bring in from their personal collections. Both the Museum Collection and Morris’ archival pieces will be available for purchase at The Store at MAD through the end of May.
A longtime supporter of the museum, the designer’s choice to use The Store at MAD as the backdrop for this special trunk show was an obvious one. “MAD has the finest modern jewelry collection in the country and perhaps the world,” said Morris. “I treasure knowing my work is not only in the permanent collection but now available for the collectors to buy through The Store, which I find a fascinating, soul-filled place, purveying all matter of objects and products that embody the mission of the Museum.”
