Luxury hotel group Fairmont Hotels & Resorts announced the newest addition to its portfolio, a 380-accommodation in Indonesia’s capital due to open in 2014. What promises to be a stunning property will be located in Senayan Square at the south end of Jakarta’s central business district.
In addition to the 380 spacious guest rooms, the hotel will offer 108 Fairmont-branded, long-stay serviced suites. Other features and amenities will include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel will feature 37,674 square feet of function space, including a 12,917-square-foot ballroom.
The 8,073-square-foot Willow Stream Spa, the award-winning signature spa brand that draws on the destination’s nature, essence and energy, will provide guests with a unique brand of luxury and outstanding service. Fitness and pool facilities will be available on-site and located nearby is the 18-hole Senayan Golf Course.

Indonesia’s capital is a dynamic melting pot, and visitors to the city will enjoy a range of activities from museums to nightlife and a plethora of dining options. Jakarta is also home to impressive malls including Plaza Senayan, antique stores and local markets.
