In keeping with the burgeoning interest in modern Indian art, Exhibit 320, a gallery in Delhi, will be one of several Indian galleries to show at Hong Kong International Art Fair’s ASIA ONE, beginning May 26th. A platform to showcase Asian galleries, ASIA ONE will present solo shows of artists of Asian origin, including the Subcontinent.

Exhibit 320’s owner and director Rasika Kajaria is a connoisseur of contemporary South Asian art. Her dossier at Art HK will be comprised of Nandan Ghiya’s celebrated “deFacebook” series, featuring vintage portrait photographs with the countenances pixilated out, and works by Muktinath Mondal, including the spiritually charged painting Holy Basil or Holy Spirit, which depicts a cluster of temple bells swaying above a black background.
