Paris, France – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
This year will usher in a broadened international presence for haute-watch manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre. To commemorate its global expansion, the brand will enlarge its Parisian boutique, located in the 17th-century Hôtel de Villemaré in Place Vendôme, the core of French luxury. Housed in a building originally designed by Mansart, Louis XIV’s architect, the over 5,300-square-foot space will house Jaeger-LeCoultre iconic designs. A mix of contemporary refinement and discreet luxury will greet guests as they browse classics such as the Reverso, which celebrates its 80th anniversary this year. In order to ensure uninterrupted service while the Place Vendôme boutique is refined, a temporary new boutique will open in December at 296, rue Saint-Honoré.
Jaeger-LeCoultre, based in the legendary Vallée de Joux since 1833, has 43 stores worldwide. A new store is planned to open on the famous Via Montenapoleone in Milan; a handful of other stores, such those in Paris and Hong Kong, will also be renovated to represent the brand’s highest aesthetic ideals.
