Travelers who are looking to take a sip of a memorable getaway can now book The Sense of the Wine package ($3,041 per couple) available until November 11, 2012.
The package includes three nights in a double deluxe room, full American breakfast daily, return private transfer to Badia a Passignano Estate owned by Marchesi Antinori, with a visit to the vineyards and the wine cellar of the abbey, as well as wine tasting and lunch at the Osteria a Passignano. Also part of the package is an introductory course to Italian wines conducted by Viviana Andreatta in the hotel’s intimate cellar, accompanied by a gourmet dinner at Loggia Restaurant and paired with the wines tasted during the course. After a fulfilling meal, guests get to partake in a grape seed oil massage for two at either the picturesque massage gazebo or in the sophisticated comfort of guests’ room.
