The new Family Getaway Package includes two nights at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica followed by two nights at Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel, as guests are able to explore the Amazon Rainforest and experience the timeless spirits of Machu Picchu in one adventure-packed vacation.
The Family Getaway Package includes numerous excursions for the whole family to enjoy. Guests can choose between a twilight river excursion through one of the Amazon tributaries, a guided walk along the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway, a visit to Inkaterra’s renowned Butterfly House, an organic tea-making lesson for children and a sunrise tour of Machu Picchu. The package also includes private transfers and train tickets both ways from Cusco to Machu Picchu, tea time at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica, daily meals, and spa session and treatments at each property. Each child will also receive their own explorer kit to go and discover exotic Peru.
In addition to the various private guided excursions, guests will be staying in luxurious accommodations at both hotels. A tropical rainforest oasis awaits guests at the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica, located on the Madre de Dios River. For the second portion of the trip, guests will stay at the award-winning Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel. The hotel was named by Travel + Leisure magazine as one of the “World’s Best Hotels” since 2010 and in Conde Nast Traveler’s “Gold List” 2010-2012.
The Family Gateway package is based on a family of two adults and two children under 12. Prices are listed as $1,850 per adult and $700 per child. The new package will be available for families to enjoy through November 30, 2012.
