Venice, Italy – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
Fope Gioielli will collaborate with the International Art Prize Arte Laguna in Venice March 2013. The event will include a collective exhibition in Venice Arsenale, a special exhibition at the Romanian Institute for Arts Culture and Research and exhibitions in art galleries around the city.
Arte Laguna was awarded a medal by the President of the Italian Republic as an acknowledgment of its importance in the promotion of contemporary art, and it is supported by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the region of Veneto, the city of Venice, Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, and IED (Istituto Europeo di Design).
Fope will support the Arte Laguna Business for Art prize for virtual art, which was established last year. It includes artworks entirely created with computer software, graphics and 3D animation, virtual installations, net art, and artworks made through smartphone or tablet applications, and net art productions. The winner will receive an award, as well as a prize in money, and will have the chance to participate in an art project made in collaboration with Fope Gioielli. All finalist artworks of the virtual art section will be hosted at the Telecom Italia Future Centre in Rialto, in the historical heart of Venice.
