Spring is in the air, and the exclusive Bal Harbour Shops in Bal Harbour, Florida are featuring a series of fresh, new products and programs especially for elite traveler.
Here are a few featured items on the following slideshow.
Beatle Mania
Henry Grossman’s new limited-edition tome, Places I Remember: My Time with the Beatles (Curvebender), offers a nostalgic look back to the 1960s and the heyday of Beatles dominance from 1964 to 68. Grossman, whose photographic work in Time and Life magazines earned him great accolades, was unarguably in the legendary band’s inner circle, having shot now iconic images of the group traveling, recording and sharing time at home. But unlike his first book, Kaleidoscope Eyes, which chronicles the late-night production of Sgt. Pepper, this new arrival sets the scene outside of the studio.
STYLE AND SUBSTANCE
This Wednesday, April 10, Neiman Marcus welcomes Brioni Master Tailor Francesco Marrone for a special event honoring four of South Florida’s philanthropists: Edgar Lozano, Gus Machado, Ricky K Patel and Dr. Sanford Ziff. These men of substance also have to look the part, so we checked in with Marrone to get some tips on Spring suiting and the latest in Men’s fashion from Brioni.
Lens Master
Acclaimed fashion photographer Sante D’Orazio will be the focus of an upcoming selling exhibition at Christie’s. “Other Graces: Photographs by Sante D’Orazio,” spans the photographer’s career from the 1990s to present, and is on view in New York through April 19. Sante D’Orazio’s oeuvre is populated by models, celebrities and provocative figures caught by this talented lensman for the likes of Italian Vogue, Interview, Vanity Fair, GQ and French and British Vogue. The images in “Other Graces” include Diane Krueger, Kate Moss, Axl Rose, Keith Richards and Pamela Anderson, captured in moments that reveal more than their public persona typically does. The exhibition focuses on large-scale editions of photographs taken by D’Orazio over the past three decades, newly printed by the artist in editions of 3.
