Trump SoHo is a celeb magnet with Kim Kardashian, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Chris Brown and Lisa Vanderpump being just a few of the stars spotted there. Thanks to an ambitious, new in-room dining menu, the glitterati don’t need to leave their suites to dine well. I recently checked in and checked out the palette-pleasing menu at the neighborhood’s only AAA Five Diamond rated hotel.
Kudos to Chef Desmond Lin (pictured above with some of the new dishes) for designing an incredible menu that allows celebs, or any travelers for that matter, to maintain their privacy in their suite while not sacrificing their taste buds.
Why go out when you can have a poached Maine lobster salad like this one pictured here, tuna tartare or local charcuterie delivered to your suite?
International breakfast dishes, healthy fare (think breakfast smoothies, tofu and gluten-free pasta), Asian Delights and a multitude of Italian dishes are also among the many new offerings on the menu.
I opted for Thai coconut green curry with shrimp (chicken, been or tofu also available) with jasmine rice from the Asian menu, after being tempted by tandoori chicken salad, vegetable stir fry, chicken tikka masala and grilled Korean short ribs with house made kimchi.
I must say my curry dish (pictured here) was beyond delicious with just the right amount of spice. Just as I finished, the doorbell rang. I hadn’t even called for removal of my table. But that’s what’s great about staying at Trump SoHo. It’s like they anticipate your needs so you don’t have to request anything — a big reason the stars prefer Trump SoHo.
