The historic Ashford Castle is now part of the group’s award-winning collection.
Located in County Mayo, in western Ireland, Ashford Castle dates back to the 13th Century, and once served as the Guinness family home.
Since becoming a hotel in 1939, the iconic lakefront resort has hosted the likes of Ronald Reagan, John Lennon, Oscar Wilde, Brad Pitt and King George V of Britain.
It has 83 guestrooms, a spa, fields for falconry and clay pidgeon shooting, a nine-hole golf course, equestrian facilities and access to fishing in the Lough Corrib.
