Philadelphia’s prestigious city center hotel is taking the luxury experience to a new level with the debut of five new Park Suites.
Offering breathtaking views of Rittenhouse Square, the suites promise to blend residential experience with the elegance, comfort, and opulence expected from a hotel such as The Rittenhouse, a recipient of the Five Diamond award, a Leading Hotel of the World, and Philadelphia’s most distinguished address.
“At The Rittenhouse, we believe the best hotel experiences should be both bespoke and residential in nature,” said Reginald Archambault, general manager of The Rittenhouse. “The new Park Suites evoke a modern, yet refined, design sensibility without sacrificing the timeless spirit and traditions that define our beloved hotel, and we look forward to introducing these new offerings to our guests this summer.”
The suites, designed by acclaimed interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud, range from 450 to 1330 square feet and offer a true guest-in-residence experience. Their word-class, contemporary design perfectly complements the hotel’s classic style, creating an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and inviting. With oak wood floors, custom furnishings with art deco and 20th century influences, and floor-to-ceiling windows, the suites embrace both the modern and the familiar, pairing a new, fresh look with a warm ambiance.
“We designed the five signature spaces to celebrate the wonderful views of the Square,” said Champalimaud. “We were inspired by the balance between sophisticated sensibility and classic style found throughout the hotel, and we felt a responsibility to preserve this rich history, while offering guests a new experience.”
Each suite features an expansive living area with a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, and bar; master bedrooms with king-sized beds and sand Belgian linen upholstery; and an en-suite bath with a walk-in Kohler massage shower, silver travertine bathtub, and Acqua di Parma spa amenities. The adjoining Gallery entry features displays of books and artworks relevant to Philadelphia’s history, offering a serene place for guests to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Situated on the third floor of the 116-room hotel, the Park Suites are the ideal accommodations for luxury-seeking travelers looking to explore the City of Brotherly Love.
