More than 1,000 artists are set to perform at the 47th season of Festival d’été de Québec in July this year.
The historic and breathtakingly beautiful cultural hot spot of Québec City will host the festival for 11 days with some of the biggest names and the latest trend-setting talent on the international music scene.
From intimate blues at Le Petit Imperial bistro to after-hours electro shows at le Cercle to superstars on North America’s largest outdoor stage – the Bell stage, located in a historic battlefield park overlooking the St. Lawrence River – there’s something for every musical taste.
Nearly one million visitors flocked to the Festival in 2013, and not just for its artistic line-up. Each year people come for the fabulous cuisine of Québec City, its European culture and North American lifestyle, the old-world charm of its UNESCO site architecture, a range of accommodations from luxury hotels to cozy B&Bs, and its easy accessibility by air and ground for travelers.
