The much-awaited new twinjet from French manufacturer Dassault promises new levels of passenger comfort, mission range, and cockpit advancement for international elite travelers in the super-midsize segment.
Debuted by Dassault with much aplomb at the recent NBAA (National Business Aviation Association) show in Las Vegas this past fall, with a typical eight-passenger load the Falcon 5X proports to have a range of 5,200 NM burning along at Mach .80. Innovative new Snecma Silvercrest engines afford as much as a 50 percent increase in overall fuel efficiency compared to competing intercontinental aircraft in the segment. Even more appealing to passengers, the Falcon 5X delivers an unparalleled cabin experience. High interior ceilings, about 6 feet, 6 inches, in fact, and an extra-wide cabin beam, about 8 feet, 6 inches, make this bizjet something you can really move around in, or sneak off to find a little more privacy, especially in the aft cabin on overnight flights.

For your pilots, the 5X will also feature the newest generation of Dassault’s award-winning EASy flight deck. First flight is expected in Q1 2015 with EASA and FAA certifications before the end of 2016. Typical city pairs for the aircraft could be New York to Moscow, London to Miami, or Shanghai to Sydney.
