The Chinese Timekeeper Launches 2014 Collection

By Chris Boyle

The Chinese TimekeeperIt was back in October 2010 that the first exclusive watch brand boasting a true Chinese heritage came to life. Based in Hong Kong, The Chinese Timekeeper proudly embraces the glorious Chinese heritage that inspires the brand’s designs.

Join this luxury watch brand as it journeys back through the centuries when China led the world in mastering the measurement of time. It is with sincere pride that we now share our timepieces with you – proudly crafted-in-China.

The Chinese Timekeeper pays homage to Su Song’s revolutionary clock tower, finding inspiration in his singular conquest of the measurement of time.

Several distinctive elements of CTK’s timepieces have been designed with the work of Su Song in mind. The shape of the case has been ingeniously engineered with respect to the central piece in Kaifeng’s clock tower: the Ancient Chinese Pagoda from which bystanders could hear and see the display of time.

The case is composed of four rings made of 316L stainless steel, which are held together by four structural screws through the bezel to the case back.

Long awaited, regularly requested and carefully designed are first three pieces of the 2014 collection in a gorgeous 38mm case.

Smaller but not too small, charismatic yet elegant, the new 38 mm CTK timepieces have been handcrafted by the best watchmakers in Hong Kong and are truly in a class of their own.

Well-proportioned while maintaining the striking look and feel of their bigger brothers, the 38mm CTKs are made to brighten your days with colorful straps and stunning dials.

Whether you prefer the brighter dial or the mesmerizing night blue with diamond dial you are in for a treat! And if diamonds aren’t your thing, The Chinese Timekeeper is proud to announce the first ever timepiece with Red Jade – the stone of passion.
