Art Basel has returned to Hong Kong for its second year after the overriding success of last year’s inaugural event. Attracting more than 60,000 visitors last year, there’s hope to supersede these figures this time round.
Art Basel Hong Kong 2014
Taking place over four-days—15th to 18th May—the renowned event will see more than 245 premier galleries gather to exhibit from 39 countries and territories. Over half of these galleries hail from Asia and the Asia-Pacific (including 24 from Hong Kong) and will also present some of the best art from the local region.

Split into six sections including Galleries, Insights, Discoveries and Encounters, the event will also feature a three-day film program for the first time. There is also the opportunity to attend the different conversations and talks that will include international speakers, panel discussions and lectures. These presentations, along with the display of modern and contemporary art from the leading galleries from around the world, make it one of the most all-encompassing and international design and arts events in the world.
