Elite Traveler has released its 13th Annual Top 101 Suites of the World, highlighting the most decadent innovations in the world of luxury hotels.
The most expensive suite – InterContinental Geneva – will set you back $56,000 for one night. However, it is dwarfed by the largest suite on the list, Saffron House at the K Club in Kildare, Ireland, at a mere $16,000 a night.
Highlights include London’s EWOW Suite at the W Hotel in Leicester Square, boasting a rotating dance floor and DJ booth set beneath a disco ball sculpture at $4,725 a night.
A 20-foot diamond waterfall chandelier features at The Jewel Suite by Martin Katz at the New York Palace. Guests will also find a diamond microband ring courtesy of the eponymous jeweler to take home as part of the package.
The list includes suites from across the world with the US leading the list (20), followed by China (10). The top cities are Dubai and London, with six each.
The full list is cover story of the July/August 2014 issue of Elite Traveler, and is also available at on the website.
