Jiri Kolar Exhibition in Prague
The exhibition is dedicated to the 100th birth anniversary of Jiri Kolar, one of the world’s most respected collage artists. You will get a chance to see on display over hundred of Kolar’s most important works which were exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in New York in 1976. The art works are now part of the Jan and Meda Mladek collection of contemporary art at the Kampa Museum in Prague.
Every year members of the current international music scene of various genres, from classical music to jazz, crossover and old music to world music come to this Prague festival in autumn. The Strings of Autumn seeks a broad perspective to convey the immense diversity of the music world to audiences, regardless of the well-traveled ruts of certain genre. In addition to the nine concert evenings, the festival offers a playful weekend for children and their parents called Strings for Children, and a mini-festival of talents from the Czech and international scenes, and the informal club night Spotlight.
