Featuring 174 lots of captivating creations from across the ages, Christie’s biggest sale of the year will offer up classic designs as well as a selection of wearable couture by the world’s top contemporary designers and goes on public view at Christie’s South Kensington this Saturday.
From wearable gowns and cocktail dresses to coats, suits and Hermès handbags, there is something for every discerning fashionista and vintage collector, including the sale of Schiaparelli gowns once belonging to socialite Lady Cecile Kemball Cook.
Other auction highlights are set to include the sale of ten Disney-Princess-inspired dresses designed by the likes of Versace, Elie Saab and Oscar de la Renta (in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity) and a 30 lot collaboration with Cameron Silver of Decades, LA’s famed vintage consignment store.
