Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay has now opened, reflecting the country’s growing luxury hospitality sector. The hotel, already described as a destination unto itself, is set on a man-made island against the backdrop of Manama.
To celebrate the opening of the grand hotel, the hospitality group held a series of events including star-studded opening ceremonies and parties. At the hotels inauguration ceremony on March 1, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, offered his good wishes for success and predicted that Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay would become a new landmark in the city.
Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck also announced three new concepts, including CUT and CUT Lounge led by Executive Chef Ben Small, Blue Moon Lounge and re / Asian Cuisine with Executive Chef Brian Becher. Also on offer are an additional four dining spots, including the poolside Vento.
The building, which rises 68 storeys on a 12 acre private island, is accessible via boat or water taxi. It offers 273 hotel guest rooms – including 57 suites – featuring elevated, unobstructed views through floor-to-ceiling windows facing either the Arabian Gulf or the Manama Skyline. The spacious rooms are filled with light and cool and contemporary decor.
