The Walt Disney Company is marking its 100-year anniversary with a showstopping exhibition at ExCel London – the latest stop in its European tour following residencies at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia and Munich’s Small Olympic Hall.
Running from October 13, 2023, the 20,000-sq-ft exhibition will feature 10 immersive galleries crammed with never-before-seen artifacts and memorabilia, promising a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the story behind Disney’s legendary characters.
Titled Disney100: The Exhibition, the exciting new show took four years to plan; expect interactive installations and original costumes from the Walt Disney archives, alongside items from Marvel Studios, the Pixar Lighting Archives and the Walt Disney Animation Research Library.

Keep an eye out for stand-out pieces like the prop storybook from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (1937), the carousel horse from Mary Poppins (1964), and original artwork from One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961).
“There are few brands as globally recognized and adored as Walt Disney, and Disney100: The Exhibition will celebrate the 100-year anniversary of these iconic characters and stories that have captivated the hearts and imagination of audiences around the world,” said Damian Norman, head of attractions and live events at ExCel.

If you’re hoping to bag tickets to the blockbuster exhibition, you’ll need to move quickly. The exclusive waitlist opened on July 11 and tickets are released at 10am on July 18, 2023.
