Air Culinaire Worldwide has announced the asset purchase of Stevie’s state-of-the-art, in-flight catering facility. The purchase will increase capacity and coverage in the Southern California region, allowing Air Culinaire Worldwide to be more responsive when handling the increasing demand for in-flight catering in the area. With the new facility, Air Culinaire Worldwide will also be able to accommodate last-minute orders out of San Diego International Airport (KSAN / SAN).
“With the addition of San Diego, Air Culinaire Worldwide provides significant coverage for our clients while operating throughout California and key business aviation locations in the West Coast of the United States,” said Cliff Smith, Chief Executive Officer.
As part of the purchase, Air Culinaire Worldwide has welcomed Stevie’s employees in San Diego as part of the growing Air Culinaire Worldwide team. They will train with Air Culinaire Worldwide senior kitchen employees under General Manager Yadira Barrera, who brings years of in-flight catering knowledge and leadership to the team.
“The teams in San Francisco and San Jose, as well as the whole Air Culinaire Worldwide family, are eager to work with the seasoned aviation culinary team at Stevie’s in San Diego to provide even better service to our clients,” said Max Moe, West Coast Regional Director at Air Culinaire Worldwide.
