Full details of the Bentley Bentayga – the most talked about SUV of 2015 – have been announced.
Designed, engineered and handcrafted in Crewe, the Bentley Bentayga, provides a combination of unparalleled luxury with effortless performance and usability. Featuring the all-new W12 powertrain, the Bentayga is the fastest, most powerful, most luxurious SUV in the world. It boasts Bentley’s signature styling that the brand has become so well known for, with four round LED headlamps and large matrix grille.
At the heart of the new Bentayga is the all-new twin turbocharged 6.0 liter engine. The 12-cylinder unit combines efficiency and refinement with luxurious levels of power and torque. Boasting 608 PS (600 bhp/447 kW) @ 6,000 rpm and 900 Nm (663 16.pt) from 1,250 rpm to 4,500 rpm, a 6-60 mph time of 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 187 mph, the Bentayga is the world’s most powerful SUV.

The Bentayga features some of the most innovative and advanced technologies to date, including on and off drive settings, Traffic Sign Recognition and Park Assist. The cutting edge 8” touch screen infotainment system boasts class-leading navigation technology, a 60GB hard drive and a choice of up to 30 languages.

Rear passengers are able to benefit from the introduction of the Bentley Entertainment Tablet – a removable 10.2” Android Device with 4G, WiFi and Bluetooth.
Once inside the Bentayga, the attention to detail is evident, with handcrafted wood and leather throughout. Showcasing the epitome of British luxury, the dashboard uses the iconic Bentley ‘wing’ design as its inspiration, with elegant surfaces flowing gracefully from door to door. The individually handcrafted front seats which feature 22-way adjustment settings are sure to provide comfort for all conditions. This is further enhanced by the six-program massage system, seat heating and ventilation.
Paint, veneer, leather and lifestyle options are all customizable, creating an unlimited number of options available while redefining personalization and bespoke luxury. The standard palette alone comprises of 17 exterior paint colors while a further 90 hues are also available in the extended range. There are 15 luxurious carpet options, seven different veneer options and 15 choices of interior trim hide. Customers are also able to choose between a new range of Bentayga alloy wheels in a range of sizes from 20” to 22”.

But it is the genuine luxury and go-anywhere ability that really sets the Bentayga apart. The development of the first ever Bentley SUV saw the Bentley team test the Bentayga to the limit, from the dirt and gravel in South Africa to the sand dunes in Dubai, from the muddy fields of Cheshire to the -30c in the frozen North Cape. The most exhaustive development program in Bentley’s history has proven the Bentayga’s ability to perform on any surface and in any condition.
Customer deliveries are expected to commence early 2016.
