As if the Burberry trench didn’t already define springtime in New York, the brand’s Spring Street store has transformed to celebrate another item this season. Named after the house code for Burberry’s signature gabardine fabric, the DK88 bag collection is now available to purchase – and to experience.
First introduced on the London runway earlier this year, the collection has been reimagined for spring in Burberry’s new Trench Leather. The homage to Burberry’s classic fabric comprises a new permanent bag collection for the brand, adding a new spring staple to the mix.
To mark the release of the new line of bags, Burberry’s Spring Street location is offering guests the full DK88 Experience. Through May 15, the space is reflecting the DK88 color palette in its decor and is offering guests services centered around the bag. Those who visit the store have the opportunity to create their own unique DK88 top handle bag, with a choice of 18 colors for the base, flap, handle, strap and hardware. You can even preview your bespoke design in real time with the store’s 360 degree visualization tool.
A limited selection of 50 DK88 top handle bags with unique color combinations are also available, exclusive to Burberry Spring Street. The full collection is now available to shop online, featuring new sizes, shapes and colors. For both men and women, the collection includes satchel and luggage-inspired shapes in addition to the classic top handle bag.
