He has previously created a supermarket, a feminist protest, a casino and a garden but this time the creative director of Chanel Karl Lagerfeld reconstructed an airport terminal at Paris’s Grand Palais.
The spacious white terminal named “Chanel Airlines” played host to the new Chanel Spring Summer 2016 Collection where almost 100 looks were showcased.
This season’s collection features a feminine wardrobe which combines comfort and elegance and an array of functional travel accessories, from signature handbags to suitcases.
Featuring plenty of tweed , denim, lace and silk in a wide color palette, this year’s collection includes blue, white, red, gray and black.
Featuring full skirts worn over fluid pants, wedge sandals and airplane motifs, the Chanel show also featured the Chanel Suit which received a modern upgrade, becoming void of collars, pockets, braids and buttons.
