In the second of an ongoing series of VIP round table luncheons, Elite Traveler hosted executives from luxury companies such as Bulgari, JetSmarter and Van Cleef & Arpels to exchange views on engaging with clients in the digital age. Leveraging its experience as the leading private jet magazine and website, Elite Traveler shared its insights on engagement with ultra-high-net-worth individuals with top fashion, watch, jewelry, hotel and tourism executives. Greg Licciardi, CRO, and Kristen Shirley, Luxury Editor, led a conversation on the changing digital landscape, guests shared their views on future campaigns and business growth. All guests agreed that with the amount of information available online, quality content and a consistent message across all platforms are more important than ever. Virtual reality and video are popular and successful initiatives; expect to see more unique experiences for customers. E-commerce continues to grow, with significant sales taking place online. When purchasing expensive pieces online, many customers still want to speak with a real person, so a dedicated online concierge is a key asset.
The lunch was held at the private Green Room at Hunt & Fish Club in New York. Guests dined on Murray’s burrata, veal agnolotti, burnt lemon chicken and salmon under an arched skylight surrounded by mirrors, marble and a living green wall.
