Just in time for the elite event of the season, BLADE has launched a route from New York to Miami.
BLADEone, a by-the-seat jet service between Manhattan (or Westchester) and Miami has kicked off its second season ahead of Art Basel Miami Beach. BLADE is a mobile application for aviation, allowing users to easily create flights or book seats for crowdsourced helicopter, seaplane, turboprop plane and jet travel between the New York area and popular regional destinations such as the Hamptons, New Jersey Coast and Nantucket.
On Thursday, December 1, passengers will depart from from Manhattan’s BLADE Lounge West and fly directly to the new BLADEone Jet which will continue on to Miami. The Bombardier CRJ 200 commercial airline jet is typically set up to accommodate 60 passengers, however the BLADEone aircraft has been retrofitted to carry only 16 for added comfort and privacy. Aboard the jet, interior design was styled by The Line with a dopp kit by Henri Bendel and VieVité rosé toasting each takeoff.
Once in Miami, all flyers purchasing two round-trip BLADEone seats will be transported to a complimentary suite for a weekend at Faena Hotel Miami Beach. After a day spent touring the Art Basel exhibits, travelers can take in Faena’s sweeping ocean views from their balconies while enjoying butler service, Carrera marble bathrooms and standalone soaking tubs.
Following the launch of BLADEone’s second season, service will continue on a weekly basis through April 16. Flights depart Manhattan at 9am on Friday mornings and return from Miami on Sundays at 4pm, with the option of departing from or returning directly to Westchester for all BLADEone Miami flights. This season, BLADE’s Miami hub will also offer intra-Florida flights as well as flights between Miami, the Bahamas, and Cuba.
There are no membership fees required to purchase any of BLADE’s offerings. For more information, please visit flyblade.com.
