Girard-Perregaux Adds to its Laureato Collection with Five Colorful Timepieces

Summer is nearly over but Girard-Perregaux wants to keep you chic for your season-ending soirées.

After re-launching the Laureato design in 2017 (it was first designed in 1975 by a Milanese architect), the watch has been reimagined with various movements, colors and materials that appeal to both men and women. Its unique octagonal bezel remains the same in this ever-growing, sporty collection. This summer, five delightfully bright pieces were born into this family — they’re playful, vibrant and, most importantly, take you from the beach to a chic dinner party.

The best part about these watches is that they can be as over-the-top or as understated as you like. Though not interchangeable, each color comes in two options: with a rubber strap for a head-turning color blocking look, or stainless steel bracelet that adds just a pop of color to complement your outfit.

Choose from three colorways in the larger 38mm Laureato option: blue, purple and yellow. It’s set with .9 carats of brilliant-cut diamonds around the bezel and has an in-house self-winding movement, GP03300. If you opt for something slimmer and more petite, behold the bubble-gum pink-hued and bright sea-green colorways. This smaller watch houses a quartz movement, the GP13100, and the bezel is set with .82 carats brilliant-cut diamonds. Each size is limited to 75 pieces.
