Heathrow Airport has announced a new menu available exclusively to VIP customers flying Business or First Class, in collaboration with Michelin Starred Chef Jason Atherton.
The menu will offer customers a taste of contemporary gastronomy seen in his restaurants, including Pollen Street Social and Berners Tavern.
The menu will be updated monthly, allowing regular VIP guests to indulge in a wide variety new flavors.
This month they can expect to enjoy a selection of mouth watering canapés followed by a Berners Tavern summer salad and a delicious roasted stone bass, caramelized cauliflower, fennel and cockle velouté for the main course. For dessert, the passengers can take pleasure in a French meringue, fresh berry compote and strawberry sorbet.
Jason Atherton said: “Having experienced the Heathrow VIP offering first hand, I’ve always been impressed with how the service transforms the way you travel and so I was delighted to help make the dining experience a true occasion for passengers.”
John Holland-Kaye, CEO of Heathrow added: “I can still remember the first time I ate in one of Jason’s restaurants and I went straight out and bought his recipe book so that I could try them out at home. I am thrilled that our VIP passengers can experience the real thing, the very best in British cuisine, when they travel through Heathrow.”
Home to more than 80 airlines connecting to more than 180 destinations, Heathrow Airport has received investments over £11 billion throughout the past decade and has been voted the ‘Best Airport in Western Europe’ for two years in a row.
This new exhilarating and delectable addition will certainly add a sample of excitement and a taste of luxury to those taking advantage of the VIP package, making the Heathrow experience even more special.
