Naples Winter Wine Festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary with its most special auction to date. The world’s most successful charity wine auction will offer guests the chance to bid on rare vintages as well as once-in-a-lifetime experiences around the world.
This year’s auction includes the chance to own one of the first 2020 Bentley Flying Spur sedans, wine tasting at the world-famous Domaines Barons de Rothschild in Bordeaux, and receiving private tennis lessons from a Wimbledon champion during the prestigious tournament.
The Bentley Flying Spur includes an exclusive tour around the Bentley Motors production facility in Crewe, England, and a three-night stay in the chic Connaught Hotel. Guests will be transported to-and-from England on round-trip business flights while all travel during the trip is also included.
Wine connoisseurs are likely to contest for an extraordinary ‘Time Travel Tasting’ at Château Lafite Rothschild. This extravagant journey not only includes a trip to the private home of the Rothschild family but also 15 bottles (nine 750ml and six 1.5-liter) from the estate signed by Baron Eric de Rothschild and Saskia de Rothschild.
For sports fans, an unforgettable trip to the United Kingdom includes VIP access to both the Wimbledon Championships and The Open. The winning couples will receive Center Court tickets for the Women’s and Men’s Singles Finals as well as access to the player and celebrity lounges.
Following a 90-minute lesson with a tennis champion, guests will then be whisked to the Kent countryside where they will be handed VIP tickets to all four days of the oldest and most prestigious golf tournament in the world.
Other notable auction lots include a family escape to Trout Lake in Northern Wisconsin, a charming tour of Europe’s true hidden gems, and an exploration of Italy’s cultural treasures.
The auction takes place on January 24-26 at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Floria. Every dollar raised at the NWWF will be donated to the Naples Children & Education Foundation through grants to strategic initiatives and programs that support the Collier County community.
“Each year, our generous partners, long-time supporters, Co-Chairs and Trustees are able to provide bidders at the NWWF with truly unique culinary, wine, travel and red-carpet experiences,” said Peter Welsh, 2020 NWWF Co-Chair. “It is because of the Festival’s ability to continue to bring these curated experiences year after year that we have been able to forge a 20-year legacy as the world’s most successful wine festival.”
Ticket packages to NWWF start at $12,500 per couple.
