From scenic parks to captivating cityscapes, Instagram is a virtual vision board for those with serious wanderlust. It’s become every discerning travelers’ go-to app for sharing photos from their adventures.
The social media platform has captured millions of photos, from 500 million active users.
Instagram released its year-end data, and it found the 10 cities that people Instagrammed the most over the past year and revealed where in the world we deem the most photogenic.
Take a look at the most Instagrammed cities of 2016.
1. New York
New York’s vibrant atmosphere and colorful social breadth and intercontinental food options create the perfect setting for Instagrammers. The Big Apple, which draws in an expected 50 million tourists every year, was the most Instagrammed city of 2016.

With pops of bright red all over the city, iconic landmarks and unbeatable brunch spots, London is an Instagrammer’s dream. Europe’s second largest city is the second most Instagrammed city of 2016.
